27 Edsån  

This tour continues from lake Unden (Camping Tiveden) where the Tivedsleden trip ends. It enters lake Viken thereby joining the Gota kanal II trip.

You start paddling along the unfortunately quite unsheltered shore of lake Unden to the calm narrow lakes of the Edsån "river". The real river passages are only about 1.5 km:s between the lakes. Three portages past Edet, Nolkvarn and Sörkvarn are needed before you reach lake Viken and the village Lilla Björstorp.

For those going west the trip continues towards Tåtorp village and Göta kanal II. Otherwise you go south about 1 km ending at the small bathing beach or keep on to Forsvik and Karlsborg.

Continue from Björstorp to Tåtorp and Göta kanal II via Viken, in all 13 km.
