15 Ätran övre 1-2  

The Ätran river is one of the longest waterways of Västergötland. It stretches 160 km from Ulricehamn to Falkenberg at the sea. The canoe route of the Upper Ätran starts with a 20 km paddle along Lake Åsunden. After that follows a varied trip downstream on the Ätran with rapids, currents and portages. Experience in white-water river-running helps.

Starting from Fästeredssund is another option if you want to come closer to the Ätran river.

Continue to Ätran nedre 1-2 via 1 portage (2.0 km).
