03 Malån 1-2  

The Malån River flows through Lappland and northern Västerbotten before it joins up with the Skellefteälven. Stage 1 of the Malån is ideal for family paddling, as it consists of smoothly flowing water with about half the distance, lake paddling. Stage 2 of the Malån falls 115 m in 50 km and contains several difficult rapids, the impassable "Storforsen" , among others.
