Paddling around Blidö island is a long day-trip or suitable for a weekend. The scenic and varied archipelago also opens up for several detours to surrounding islands. For example around Gräskö or the twin-islands Norröra and Söderöra or the Hallonstenarna or the Sundaskären and so on... There are many possibilities.

You can start from Stämmarsund in well sheltered waters in the northwest. If the weather is calm you can also launch from Bromskär bridge at the northeast shore. Here the coastline often is open to the sea without sheltering islands. (Tip from Christina Arvidsson.)
