09a Västerdalälven mel 1  

Västerdalälven River's middle section #1 offers paddling on mostly calm water through a beautiful river valley on lagoon-like lakes. A landscape changing from forest to agriculture is past along the way. There are however some easy-medium difficult rapids to be navigated. This middle section of the Västerdalälven is basically undeveloped. It has just one power station, located after Limedsforsen.
