With stretches of calm water alternating with narrow,stony and difficult rapids, paddling on the Vanån River is not for the beginner. On these waters expect some tough going! As a consolation, there is however, good fishing along the way.

This trip is a challenge only for the experienced white-water paddler in a kayak. Please note that low water makes the stream more stony and shallow and even more difficult to pass.
