18 Balungen-Runn

Balungen-Runn canoe trail is over a lake system that has dams and streams between the lakes. The trail criss-crosses a typical small farm landscape where forests and fields crowd against each other.

Among the sights to see along the way are the Isala lada (from Gustaf Vasa's adventure in Dalarna), the church and old estate in Svärdsjö and the artist Carl Larsson's estate in Sundborn. Allow about 4 days for this tour.

Continue from Falun to Torsång and Dalälven övre 1-3 via Runn, in all 5 km.
