04 Lyckebyån nedre  

The trip Lyckebyån nedre is only advisable in high-water for experienced paddlers, because of many dams, rapids and shallow passages. You start south of Strömsberg village and will soon recognize those first 12 km:s down to and past Kättilsmåla as the trickiest part. But the stretch is very varied, offering both narrow straits, small lakes and thrilling wilderness.

After Kättilsmåla it becomes easier with the exception of about one km overland (canoe cart) and a couple of short portages before you pass Lyckeby town and enter the sea.
